Today (March 30) is the birthday of lawyer, filmmaker, and CEO of the Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA), Peace Anyiam-Osigwe. She is from Imo State, Nigeria. She holds a BA in Law & Political Science from the Oxford Brookes University, Oxford. She established AMAA in 2005 to provide a rewards and recognition platform for film makers on the continent.
