The world premiere of Omoni Oboli’s directorial debut, Being Mrs Elliot, took place on June 5, 2014, at the NollywoodWeek Paris film festival. The movie was the opening film of the festival, which took place at the Cinema l’Arlequin in Paris. The 500-seat theatre was completely sold out for the premiere of the movie.
Some of those who were at the premiere are Omoni Oboli, Rita Dominic, OC Ukeje, Chris Attoh, Ashionye Michelle Raccah, Michelle Bello, and Tope Oshin Ogun. Also at the premiere were Chidi Momah (GM, Government Relations and Communications, Total E & P), Olajumoke Adenowo (Principal Partner, AD Consulting Ltd), Ifeyinwa Ighodalo (CEO, DO.II Designs), Opunimi Akinkugbe (CEO, Bestman Games), Tara Fela-Durotoye (CEO, House of Tara International), and Keita Sedou Cheick (President and Founder, CIDIGA).
Being Mrs Elliot was directed by Omoni Oboli, and it stars Majid Michel, Ayo Richard Makun (AY), and Omoni Oboli herself. It is scheduled to be released in August 2014.
