Biyi Bandele’s film adapatation of Chimamanda Adichie’s novel, Half of a Yellow Sun, will be the opening night gala film of the Trinidad and Tobago Film Festival. The festival opens on September 17 and runs through October 1. The world premiere of the Half of a Yellow Sun will take place at the Toronto International Film Festival, which comes up in September.
